Polaroid Mini Album in a Box with Simple Stories

Do you want to make a mini album full of Polaroids? How about adding a little box? This is the perfect idea! I’ll show you how to create this Polaroid Mini Album in a Box, perfect for your most special photos and memories. And we’ll make it using the wonderful Classic Pooh collection by Simple Stories along with one of the die sets from Spellbinders.

For today’s mini album, I used:

Let’s create this Polaroid Mini Album in a Box

Mini Album Structure:

• The base of this mini album design is inspired by Polaroid cards and a box made from chipboard. For the box, I used 2mm thick chipboard and cut: (a) 4 pieces measuring 8.5 cm wide x 3.5 cm high and (b) 1 piece measuring 8.5 cm wide x 8.9 cm high (this will be the base of the box).
• We glue the pieces together to form the box, and once it’s dry, we attach the structure to the base piece we cut earlier.
• Once the box is ready, we choose two papers from the set to cover the exterior and interior.
• The decorative detail that serves as the “cover” of the box consists of: foam pieces from the Say Cheese Classic Pooh Collection – Foam Stickers set + a foil paper piece cut with one of the dies from the Say Cheese Classic Pooh Collection – Etched Dies – Memory Frames set + a chipboard piece from the Say Cheese Classic Pooh Collection – 6 x 12 Chipboard Stickers set + a phrase die-cut. Everything is layered using foam to create depth and dimension.
• The “pages” of the mini album will be Polaroids, which we’ll cut using the Say Cheese Classic Pooh Collection – Etched Dies – Memory Frames set.

Decorative details:

• For the interior, I die-cut Polaroid frames using the Say Cheese Classic Pooh Collection – 6 x 8 Paper Pad.
• After adding the photo to each frame, I cut a background from textured white cardstock. On this, I’ll add the journaling for each photo.
• I do this by typing the text on my computer and printing it. You can then attach the printed piece of paper using 3D foam for added dimension.
• I also added 3×4 cards and some tags as extra details.
• Once all the pieces are ready, it’s time to decorate! Now we get to mix and match all the wonderful products from this collection!

I think it turned out beautifully, and it’s the perfect mini album to make in an afternoon. Don’t you agree?
