¡Un mini ábum y explosion box a la vez! Hoy les tengo una nueva idea para crear algo bonito con los recuerdos de verano. Vamos a hacer este mini album usando la colección “Bayfair” by Rosie’s Studio junto a Spellbinders y el set “Set Sail” de de la colección Dawn Woleslagle Fair Winds. Tiene unos detalles especiales que les contaré a continuación…
A mini album and explosion box at the same time! Today I have a new idea to create something beautiful with summer memories. We are going to make this mini album using the “Bayfair” collection by Rosie’s Studio along with Spellbinders and the “Set Sail” set from the Dawn Woleslagle Fair Winds collection. It has some special details that I will tell you about below…

Tapa y Tag de Portada / Cover and Front Tag:
He hecho esta cajita usando mi plotter de corte Scan N Cut de Brother. La tapa tiene una pieza base en cardstock blanco y piezas decorativas de la colección. A su vez, he añadido una pieza circular de papel foil junto a un brad para poder colocar el Tag de Portada que hice con el set de troqueles “Set Sail”.
I made this little box using my Brother Scan N Cut cutting plotter. The lid has a base piece in white cardstock and decorative pieces from the collection. Additionally, I added a circular piece of foil paper along with a brad to place the Front Tag that I made with the “Set Sail” die set.
El tag está preparado de la siguiente forma: a- 2 tags de papel vellum, b- 2 piezas de barco en cardstock blanco, c- 1 piezas de barco en foam amarillo, d- 1 pieza de base de barco en foam rosa, e- 1 set de velas en cardstock gris claro, f- piezas decorativas de barco en papel foil. Pegamos las piezas de papel entre si, y sobre ellas la pieza de foam. Todo ello lo montamos sobre cardstock blanco y cortamos por alrededor. Luego, ya podemos pegar todas las piezas decorativas restantes.
The tag is prepared as follows: a- 2 vellum paper tags, b- 2 boat pieces in white cardstock, c- 1 boat piece in yellow foam, d- 1 boat base piece in pink foam, e- 1 set of sails in light gray cardstock, f- decorative boat pieces in foil paper. We glue the paper pieces together, and on top of them the foam piece. We then mount everything on white cardstock and cut around it. After that, we can attach all the remaining decorative pieces.
Pegamos todo sobre los tags de vellum y añadimos el título con un set de alfabeto puffy y sitckers. Ten en cuenta que las velas las he pegado en relieve.
We attach everything onto the vellum tags and add the title with a set of puffy alphabet and stickers. Note that I glued the sails with a raised effect.
Estructura / Structure:
La base de la caja va decorada con papel de la colección tanto por el interior como por el exterior. A cada una de las fotos que he elegido las he pegado sólo por 3 de sus bordes para formar un bolsillo. En esos bolsillos colocaré mini tags para journaling ¡queda muy bonito!
The base of the box is decorated with paper from the collection both on the inside and outside. I have glued each of the photos I’ve chosen on only 3 of their edges to form a pocket. In these pockets, I will place mini tags for journaling. It looks very pretty!
Detalle especial / Special detail:
A continuación les muestro en detalle la decoración de cada uno de los lados de la caja. También he preparado un detalle especial para el centro. Coloqué una pequeña botella con arena de la playa junto a una piedra y pequeña concha marina que traje del viaje ¡le de un toque muy bello y original!
Next, I will show you the detailed decoration of each side of the box. I also prepared a special detail for the center. I placed a small bottle with beach sand along with a stone and a small seashell that I brought from the trip. It gives it a very beautiful and original touch!
